    Mike has repaired several appliances in our home (washing machine, dryer, refrigerator) and checked another appliance for me to determine if it was worth fixing and recommended a different type (no brand... wasn't selling anything) that broke less frequently and was much less expensive to repair. (He even took my calls during a storm when our standby generator stopped working and offered to come out the next day to evaluate and see if there was anything he could do.) He takes the time to explain what is wrong and what his plan is to repair. Then during repair, he has always shown me the part he has to replace and explains/shows us what is wrong with it. He recommended using a different product in the washer to avoid problems in the future. He cleans up afterwards. His fees are very fair and reasonable and most times he can come the same day or the next. We find him to be very pleasant and knowledgeable and feel lucky to have found him. I keep his number in my phone and he's the first one we call with any appliance issues. Great experience! He is very pleasant and knowledgeable and I don't have to worry that I am going to be cheated or lied to. Very nice guy! Great business!

    Our dishwasher wouldn't work after serving 30 people for Easter dinner! Yikes! As my previous experience with many appliance repair companies had been poor (they would take a look for a certain charge, then tell me to buy a new appliance), I was cautious and hesitant but the dishes were piled up and we needed help. HQ was here the next day, on time with good communication. They were knowledgeable and thorough and took their time to carefully and thoroughly address the problem, gave us some prevention tips and left the washer in better condition than it was prior to the fail. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He responded within five minutes of my message, asked enough questions to be sure I had already checked for common easy-to-fix issues before setting up an appointment to come by, and then arrived exactly in the time window he had given me. He fixed three (three!) appliances for a very reasonable price, showing me what he was doing as he went, then re-checked each appliance thoroughly to be sure it was fully functional and showed me how to clean and maintain each one better myself. He left the areas where he had been working cleaner than they were before he arrived. Really top notch.

Once when our Jenn-Air fridge wasn’t cooling in the height of summer and today when our pipes froze and had no running water during an 18 degree cold snap. Both times were urgent and on a moments notice, and he responded within minutes. He’s extremely knowledgeable, affordable, and very professional and knew exactly what the problem was both times (even as I explained to him over the phone).     I can't rave enough about Mike and the service we received from HQ Appliance Repair. Our washer broke unexpectedly and I came across his info on Google searching for a repair shop and as others mentioned I am glad I did. I called him, explained the issue and he scheduled us right away. He made it out the very next day. Talk about fast service. He diagnosed our issue quickly, fixed it, and stayed on hand to test the repair and to make sure things were good. Mike has earned customers for life.     Appliance repair serviceMike was just at our house to replace the ice maker in our refrigerator. He was also able to repair an issue that a previous repairman messed up. Then I asked him to look at a problem with our stove and he fixed that. Of course, that prompted me to ask him if he could look at our washing machine because it had a leak. He was great!     5 star rating Whirlpool dishwasher repairMy less than 2 year old Whirlpool dishwasher just quit working one day. It filled up the water then nothing. After searching on Yelp, I called Mike, explained what's going on, and made an appointment. Mike showed up on time with a mask, and he was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem was the electronic connector that goes to the pump. He also made sure the pump was still in good shape instead of just trying to sell me a new one (saved me $150). I am definitely keeping his number and would highly recommend him for any appliance repair. Thank you very much Mike!

I called Mike because my LG Refrigerator is not functioning properly. He told me OVER THE PHONE exactly what the issue was and directed me to call LG because they would repair it for a lower price since it had a warranty. MOUTH DROP. He could have made over $1400 on me but he is a true service man with GREAT service! He directed me elsewhere at a cost to himself. You cannot get more HONEST than that!

I am not using him this time, but going forward this number will be saved in my phone. I am also a Realtor in the area and I will be directing all my clients to MIKE! THank you Mike! Just when I thought the world was a total loss!

Review of Freezer & Refrigerator repair Houston TX

My refrigerator would no longer get cold. I requested a quote from HQ App. on Yelp and within a few minutes I recieved a response and made an appointment for the next day. Mike texted to let me know he was on the way and was on time for the appointment. Mike took a look at the refrigerator/ freezer and quickly determined the issue to be the defroster. Mike made sure I understood the issue and pointed out the issue in the freezer. He fixed the issue in a timely manner and fixed another issue at my house. He provided a one year warranty on the work and also texted the next day to make sure everything was ok. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone.
