Whirlpool refrigerator is not cooling, compressor and condenser fan off. Troubleshooting and FIX.
1. Refrigerator not cooling
2. Remove back panel and check if compressor running. fan is off, compressor is off
3. Unplug for 30 sec , plug back
4. Check voltage on compressor. Zero volts. connect relay back
5. Open Control Board , look for defects/burns and oxidation. nothing. connect back. check for loose wiring
6. Tap on compressor relay and capacitator(on the board). Compressor and fan started for split second.
7. Check top part of compressor/fan capacitor for power. 60volts at the top of capacitor. Capacitor shot
8. Replace Control Board or capacitor if you can(much cheaper)
9. Connect and assemble everything back. Start fridge.
10. Fridge started to cool in few minutes, check vents. Back in business
