Microwave Oven Combo repair serviceI recently had an issue with the oven of my combination micro oven appliance not heating. Mike and El thoroughly performed diagnostics to determine the cause. It was determined it was the electronics. After discussing the price to repair I agreed to have it repaired. The part had to be ordered and I was told it would be repaired by the end of the week. The next day Mike called and said he could come to change out the electronics. He and El arrived and had the oven working within 30 minutes. Mike was professional yet personal. Appliance repair serviceSo, the most honest review! This tech already repaired my heater one year ago. i did not know that he also professional in repairing AC's.
last evening my AC air blower stopped working (100 degree outside). It was about 7 pm I called him (out of regular working hours), he said that can visit my home next day morning. i kindly explained that it is too hot, he understood and came in a 20 minutes .
Work description:
He made all necessary diagnostics, and found that capacitor is bad, brought from his van a temporary capacitor and my air blower started to work.
Price:
We did negotiate fora a best price i could ever get, $150 for Diagnostic and part replacement after working hours!!! Plus i got discount, which is also negotiable.
Epilogue:
tech left, and by 9pm Air Blower stopped working again. I called tech, and he picked up the phone, I've explained him what is going on. He promised to buy a necessary capacitor ( temporary one was low voltage) in the morning.
Real scenario: He cam the same day at 11pm!!! Himself, nobody pushed him! by 1 AM the problem has been resolved!
i went to bed with a super cold air blowing from my AC.

I called Mike because my LG Refrigerator is not functioning properly. He told me OVER THE PHONE exactly what the issue was and directed me to call LG because they would repair it for a lower price since it had a warranty. MOUTH DROP. He could have made over $1400 on me but he is a true service man with GREAT service! He directed me elsewhere at a cost to himself. You cannot get more HONEST than that!

My refrigerator would no longer get cold. I requested a quote from HQ App. on Yelp and within a few minutes I recieved a response and made an appointment for the next day. Mike texted to let me know he was on the way and was on time for the appointment. Mike took a look at the refrigerator/ freezer and quickly determined the issue to be the defroster. Mike made sure I understood the issue and pointed out the issue in the freezer. He fixed the issue in a timely manner and fixed another issue at my house. I had standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. Called Sunday afternoon around 4 PM. He showed up and fix the dishwasher was done by 6:30 pm. He brought all the tools necessary, diagnose the problem which was likely a simple blockage. Rates were reasonable considering how quickly the work was done. I paid $150 total. Compare that to Sears which wants to charge you $99 assessment fee just to look at it, and whatever charges on top of that. Would definitely use them again and recommend to a friend. FYI: I am a real reviewer, no fake reviews here.

Microwave is a commonly used kitchen appliance these days. Like any other household appliance a microwave fails and breaks. Here are some common faults with your microwave:

Microwave does not heat

Microwave not heating is a very common problem. Most popular issue behind this problem is magnetron failure. A magnetron consumes high voltage to produce microwave frequency to cook food. If the microwave is running empty, this can cause the magnetron to burn out. A failed magnetron must be replaced as it is immpossible to repair. Other probable causes behind this issue are faulty diodes, capacitor, defective door switch and transformer.

Microwave runs and stops

Possible causes behind this problem are failing door switch, transformer, touch pad and fan motor.

Microwave buttons do not work

If the microwave buttons do not work that indicates the touch-pad or the control panel are bad and have been damaged. Another probable cause can be defective control board.

Microwave plate does not spin

Microwave has little rotating motor below the plate which is responsible for the rotation of plate. The most probable cause behind this problem is faulty motor or worn out plastic spinner between the plate and motor. Motor and spinner can be easily replaced. However, if the motor is not faulty, it indicates a fault in the main control board. If the control board is good then check touch pad or control panel for the issue.

Microwave light-bulb does not turn on during operation

There is a little bulb inside your microwave located behind the grill, which lights when the microwave runs. If the bulb does not work then it may have burnt. Some other possible reasons are faulty bulb socket and bad wiring. If the bulb, socket and wiring are good then check the door switch and main control board. Switch or control board may have gone bad and fails to send voltage to bulb socket.

Sparking inside microwave

Sparking inside microwave is common and does not indicate that your microwave has gone bad. It requires you to immediately switch off your microwave and perform the necessary inspection. Possible reasons behind this problem are damaged wave guide cover, damaged rack support, diode burn or worn out paint from the inside walls.
